The rescue of the children of the Thai cave soon in Hollywood
The rescue mission of 12 children trapped with their soccer coach in a cave in Thailand will have his Hollywood film, announced Tuesday the production company of evangelist Pure Flix.
The announcement was made on Twitter by company co-director Michael Scott, who lives in Thailand and was at the rescue site in Chiang Rai in the north of the country.
"I could not be more excited. This story is so important to me since I followed it to Thailand, "he said in a video filmed on the scene of the rescue.
Michael Scott's wife is involved in preparations for the funeral of Saman Kunan, the Navy who died on July 6 as he was installing an oxygen tank for the extraction.
"My wife grew up alongside the Thai Navy who died in the cave. To see all these acts of bravery in the cave and see all these divers out, is such a moving and personal event for me, "said Scott.
An impressive video was released on Wednesday, showing the young Thai team of "wild boars" - aged 11 to 16 - out of Tham Luang Cave on stretchers, after a three-day rescue mission, completed successfully.
The children are in good mental and physical health, despite 18 days of anxiety in the dark and the humidity of the cave.
"We are bringing together the contacts and all that is needed, to really tell the story of this international effort, of the whole world uniting to save (12) children trapped in this cave," said Michael Scott, sure his film "can inspire millions of people around the world."
Pure Flix, at the origin of the trilogy "God is not dead", is in discussion with actors, screenwriters and potential investors, announced in the Wall Street Journal David AR White, co-founder of this film production company related to Christianity evangelical.
"Pure Flix joins the rest of the world to thank God for responding to our prayers asking for the successful rescue" children of the cave, said the company in a statement.
